Who I Am and What I Do

Hi, I'm Barry Lehman. I am a Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and retired Wisconsin Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been sober since 1988. With decades of experience and a Doctor of Ministry in addiction counseling, I specialize in long-term recovery and authored 'Mastering Recovery' to help others build a sustainable lifestyle of sobriety.

 I have worked as a counselor in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Since 2007, I have worked at Mayo Clinic Addictions Services in Rochester, MN. I am married to Valerie, also a retired Moravian pastor.
